Rain Involved With Fraud?

I read on the Korea Herald that Rain is trying remove all claims and association with J Tune Entertainment.  He is denying he had anything to do with the company except being an investor.  "Investors claim that his latest response is just a 'sly excuse' in what was essentially a 'hit and run' job where he pocketed large sums of money far great than the total revenue the financially-strapped company has generated in the three years it has been in business." What does this mean for Rain? It seems the investors of J Tune Entertainment are suing Rain for fraud and embezzlement.  We'll have to see what Rain says about this later...

Seulong With CN Blue

Annyeong haseyo! Seulong posted a picture of himself with two members of CN Blue, Jonghyun and Minhyuk.  Why does their hair look so good? :O, Maybe I'm feeling a bit of jealousy, but what are these guys doing together? They're filming for a movie, which movie? I'm not entirely sure, honestly, but I'm pretty sure it's for the movie "Acoustic." The movie is an omnibus film, meaning it will be consisted of different parts but with a unifying theme...  Seulong is in one part of the film.  Hmm, they look so happy together; a big happy family :D.

Seohyun Can Wink?!

What?! I've been lied to! The Kpop group TRAX released a teaser MV featuring SNSD's Seohyun. Seohyun has been doing a lot lately, such as dressing herself up in a wedding dress, performing with her WGM husband Younghwa during the Incheon Korean Music Wave,  and WINKING?! She's been working with her winking because it's very well done if I do say so myself.

The song is "Oh My Goddess" and will be released September 6th.  It will be among the other comebacks that are occurring such as 2NE1's comeback and B2ST's/BEAST's comeback.

Kara On Japanese Charts

Annyeong haseyo! Kara's debut in Japan has been quite a successful one.  I read on KBS Global that "Kara's song 'Mister,' which was released on August 12th in Japan, was listed in second place." The trend has not sudden either because "the song 'Mister' has been ranked in the top 20 for three consecutive weeks." Wow! This can only mean bigger things for Kara... I'm sure they can reach number 1; let's keep rooting for them!

2NE1 Comeback Filming "Go Away"

Annyeong haseyo! 2NE1 has just told us the name of their title track song's name... "Go Away"! "I Don't Care" "Go Away"? Hmm.... Sounds like what I think of antis right now. Anyways, the director that is directing them is famous Cha Eun-taek. Who is this guy? He's directed people like Lee Hyo-lee in their music videos.  Hopefully this means 2NE1 will have a very special/unique comeback. Release date is September 9th.  WHY DOES THIS FEEL LIKE IT'S TAKING SO LONG?!

Kim Hyung Joon Singapore Showcase Fanmeeting

Actor Lee Min Ho In Prague

Lee Min Ho posted a picture of him in Praha, also known as Prague today.  I hear that he may be there for commercial filming... Lee Min Ho is drinking beer in the photo.  Fans are worried about Lee Min Ho's health and commented things such as "stop smoking, it's bad for your health" or "don't drink  TOO much."  Prague looks like a beautiful place to visit... has anyone gone there before??

August 29th Inkigayo

Annyeong haseyo! This week's Inkigayo featured FT Island's comeback song "Love Love Love" and Sistar's comeback song "Shady Girl."  Sistar's Bora fractured her thumb recently and had a pretty silver splint during the Inkigayo performance. It was very unfortunate because Sistar was just beginning to promote "Shady Girl."  Read more to see a heck of a lot of pictures :D.

Who is hosting this week's Inkigayo?  f(x)'s Sulli, 2AM's Jokwon, and CN Blue's Younghwa!  Jokwon and Younghwa are such goofballs :P.

T Island came back with "Love Love Love" Sarang sarang sarang.  It's great to hear bands like CN Blue and FT Island that play their own music.

Secret performed "Madonna."  This song is so catchy and upbeat.

GP Basic performed "Game."  Is it just me, or did they sound especially squeaky this week? I think they were caught up with the dancing that they kind of messed up the vocals.  I think it's hard for anyone to do a mix of the two.

"Digital Bounce" by Seven.  I cannot take this guy seriously right now; not after he harassed Taeyang earlier. I'm still laughing about it... xD  He was wearing some kind of goggle... Worker's goggles? Hmm... construction goggles?

Homme performed "I Ate Well." Is that right? I'm still not sure about the song name... They have really good vocals though :).

SHINee performed "Lucifer."  I still love Jonghyun, and he will be my new hyung.

Taeyang performed "I'll Be There." Great great performance.  I liked the choreography and the execution of the dance moves.  Too bad Seven wasn't there.

BoA performed "Hurricane Venus."  She was wearing some kind of purple suit... Martian suit, perhaps? I'm not sure, but it was very purple and tight.  Oh BoA, we love your wide range of wardrobe surprises. What will you wear next?

Se7en Loves... Taeyang?!

Haha, I just found this on Daily Kpop News... It appears that Taeyang is being harassed by K-pop artist and friend, Se7en.  You can hear the fan girls screaming like crazy! Se7en is such a joker...

Sistar's "Shady Girl" On Music Core

Sistar returned with "Shady Girl" on Music Core yesterday and did a great job.  The choreography was great, and the vocals were impressive.  The singing and dancing had a different effect than "Push Push," but it still gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside :3.  The lighting was really bright and happy; it felt like I was on a cloud... (LOL).  But on a serious note, Sistar is one of the new Kpop groups I hope will stay for a long time.

1. Co-Ed

This group is to debut in late-September with a never before done 8-minute-long 3D MV.  The group consists of six boys and four girls, thus a co-ed group.  The idea of a co-ed group has been trending recently, especially with our the next group...

The movie really portrayed the feel of San Francisco well. It would be great if I could work with Sean Connery in the future. He’s my favourite actor. Sean Connery.

SS501 Never Talked About Disbandment

In the Playful Kiss press conference, Kim Hyun Joong talked about the "disbandment" situation. He said that he moved to Keyeast so that he can focus on a bit more acting. But he also stated that sometime next year, he will/wants to be performing again on stage. Kim Hyun Joong stated, "never once did I or the other SS501 members say anything about disbanding", meaning they never had idea of separating while changing different companies. He said that he will probably be preparing as a solo singer sometime next year. Lastly he said,

"Nothing’s decided. People say SS501 will disband. People say that, but nothing was ever said out of our mouths. Then what will happen if SS501 comes out with album? Let’s just wait and see”.

In other words, he's telling his fans to wait a bit more and to not be discouraged by the rumors. He knew that many rumors would arise, so in the Newton Fanmeeting, he told his fans to not listen to any rumors. I guess they were all pretty prepared about what was happening next.

The article talks about Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am wanting to work with 2NE1 after seeing them through Youtube.   2NE1 may have a bright future in America. The article talks about growing international sensation Taeyang, who is already successful in American charts (his new album ranks at least #5 on iTunes charts last time I checked).  Has K-pop gotten it's big break?!? Will more people understand why we all love K-pop? I hope so!

SNSD's "Genie" Japanese Version

Although summer comes to an end, SNSD releases their hot single "Genie" in Japan.  The song is sung in Japanese and they've remade the music video.  It's strange for me to hear this song sung in Japanese, but it'll probably grow on me.  I think SNSD going to Japan is a new step forward for this group ( I swear, I heard some haters saying that Japan was a step backward... wtf?).  I'm sure SNSD will do well in their time in Japan.

SISTAR Releases "Shady Girl"

Sistar has just released their second single song "Shady Girl."  The style of the song is

less bubbly than "Push Push," but still has an upbeat feeling.  The part of the chorus where Sistar sings "I need you boy" reminds me of "Push Push" and that's not a problem with me because I'm still listening to "Push Push" xD.  Sistar is just one of the numerous K-pop girl groups that debuted this year.  Will they survive the competition?  I hope there's enough room for all the groups because I'm sure each girl group has a lot of talent.

The Photogenic SMTown Family

Annyeong haseyo! SMTown's Tour had brought many fans to Seoul to watch their favorite SMTown artists.  The concert lasted 6 hours with 80 songs on a very hot SK night.  The concert was AMAZING and WONDERFUL apparently and now I'm pissed that I can't go to the LA tour stop.  WHY?!? The artists that are featured include BoA, SNSD, SHINee, Suju, f(x), and more.  Noooo.
