2NE1 releases "I Love You" MV teaser

After releasing the image teasers and audio teasers, 2NE1 has released the MV teaser for their upcoming single "I Love You."  Containing elements from all four audio teasers, the MV teaser has a montage of 2NE1's members.

Although the MV has not been released yet (many fans were expecting the release today), the single has been released.   You can buy it here on iTunes.

2NE1 releases Bom's teaser for "I Love You"

After releasing Dara and CL's audio teaser, 2NE1 has released Park Bom's audio teaser for 2NE1's upcoming song "I Love You."  Bom's signature lisp and powerful vocals really make this teaser.  So far, each member has released a teaser with a different style attached, leaving fans (like me) really confused as to what "I Love You" will actually sound like.

"I Love You" will be released July 5th.

2NE1 releases "I Love You" teaser for CL

After releasing Dara's audio teaser for 2NE1's upcoming single "I Love You," 2NE1 has also released the teaser for CL.  CL is shown lying on a bed while the audio teaser features an electropop feel -- a style common with 2NE1.

The Youtube video for CL has already received over 9,000 likes and over 140,000 views.

2NE1 returns July 5th with "I Love You."  A second single is to be released at a later date.

2NE1 releases Dara's teaser for "I Love You"

2NE1 has just released Dara's audio teaser for 2NE1's upcoming single "I Love You."  Fast and upbeat, the teaser highlights 2NE1's recognizable electropop style.  The Youtube video has already gained over 7,000 likes.

"I Love You" is set to be released July 5th.

2NE1 to release "I Love You" along with a second single later

Along with releasing a hi-definition color teaser photo, 2NE1 announced that "I Love You" will be their only single released.  Instead of releasing two singles in the album at once, 2NE1 will release the singles in succession.  "I Love You" will be released on July 5th while the second single (which has not been named) will be released three weeks later.

This strategy has been used by 2NE1 before.  The singles "Lonely" and "I Am the Best" were released in succession as well as singles "Hate You" and "Ugly."

2NE1 will be making their stage comeback on July 8th on Inkigayo.

2NE1 releases Minzy's "I Love You" photo teaser

Through the YG Life blog, there have been 2NE1 teasers released throughout the past few days.  Today the YG Life blog released the "I Love You" photo teaser for 2NE1 member, Minzy.  Similar to the other photo teasers released, Minzy is in black in white with a few of the articles of clothing in color.  According to the image, 2NE1 plans to make a comeback stage for July 8th.  The album, however, is set to be released July 5th.

2NE1 verifies "I Love You" as name of comeback title track

After releasing some teasers, fans speculated that the name of the upcoming 2NE1 title track name would be "I Love You" (Bom's teaser photo had the phrase printed on her poster).  This was later confirmed to be correct by Star News.  So far all members have had teaser photos released except for Minzy.

2NE1 is also preparing for their upcoming New Evolution tour as well.

2NE1 releases Dara's teaser photos for a July 5th comeback

2NE1 has been releasing teasers all week for their upcoming album release, which has been set to be released on July 5th.  Dara is shown with her new "lion's mane" haircut along with a striped dress.  A July 5th gives 2NE1 time to release a group teaser photo and maybe some MV teasers.

2NE1 has been busy with New Evolution concert preparations.  New Evolution is also set to be released in July on the 28th.

2NE1's Minzy reveals "New Evolution" teaser photo

After revealing the teaser photos for CL and Bom, 2NE1 has just released the teaser photo for Minzy.  2NE1's designer for their comeback is Jeremy Scott, an American designer who has worked with American and Korean artists alike.  Minzy sports a straight haircut with a yellow shirt and black pants.

The concert for New Evolution starts on July 28th.  It is unknown when the album will be released.

2NE1 reveals teaser photo for Park Bom

Right after releasing the teaser photo for CL, the teaser photo for Park Bom was released as well.  Park Bom is shown posing next to the words "New Sound" and "New Evolution."  It is unknown what 2NE1's mini-album will be called, but it has been speculated to be called New Evolution.  

Along with the teaser photo, it was stated that Jeremy Scott would be designing the outfits for 2NE1's comeback.  Jeremy Scott is an American designer who has worked with American artists, such as Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, as well as with Korean artists, such as Big Bang and SHINee.  What do you think?  Do you like Jeremy Scott's work?

2NE1 reveals comeback teaser photo for CL

2NE1 just announced its return with two teaser photos.  One teaser photo has CL with the words "Are you ready?", while the other has the words "New Evolution."  Could this be the name of the upcoming 2NE1 album?  It was said that 2NE1's comeback would be "a bit sexy", but we all know Minzy lied.  IT'S REALLY SEXY:

Allkpop released an article referring to hints of 2NE1's comeback, but what came in the article gave no further information on 2NE1's comeback.  2 quotations came from the article:
1. "Mm, sexy? No, no at all! It's a secret" -- Dara
2. "Personally, I think that this upcoming stage is a bit sexy" -- Minzy

What we gained from article:
1. Comeback in early July
2. It's a little sexy

Luckily I have a meter to help me understand this new information:

YG Family releases pictures from its concert in Osaka

The YG Family just released pictures of their most recent concert in Osaka, Japan.  Artists included Big Bang, 2NE1, SE7EN, Gummy, and Tablo.  YG just completed their 2 set concert in Osaka and will be performing in Saitama, Japan on the 21st and 22nd to complete their tour in Japan.

2NE1tv Live: Worldwide to be released in July

2NE1 is set to release the third season for 2NE1 TV, but this time it will be released to the ENTIRE WORLD.  That's right, all international fans will be able to watch their favorite Korean girl group from their own TV.  According to the teaser, 2NE1 will be adventuring and promoting their music overseas, reaching as many fans as possible.  MNETUSA is promoting the U.S. side of the television show.  Through this international TV show, 2NE1 will be spreading K-pop farther than ever before!

Currently New York, Dallas, Washington D.C., Houston, and Honolulu are the U.S. cities in which you are able to watch Asian culture channel MNET, but the company promises to expand their range soon.

2NE1 releases "I Am the Best" audio

After teasing us for a week, 2NE1 has finally released the audio for their newest single "I Am the Best".  2NE1 teased their fans with animated versions of themselves and a teaser that grew by about 10 seconds each day.   The song is electronic, just like many of 2NE1's songs.  The song can be purchased on iTunes here. Listen to the song below.

2NE1 released the fourth teaser for their upcoming song "I Am the Best", which now features Park Bom.  40 seconds of the song are now released; the newest addition added the phrase "Oh my God" = xD. 2NE1 has teased the jelly out of us already.  Luckily there is only 1 more day to go!

2NE1 releases a second teaser

2NE1 just released another teaser for Minzy; the first teaser was of CL but Minzy's teaser is an add-on to CL's teaser.  The teaser is for the upcoming 2NE1 song "I Am the Best".  2NE1 stated that they will continue to release 10 second teasers, revealing more and more of the song until June 24th, when the song is released.

2NE1 releases short teaser for "I Am the Best"

YGEntertainment released a teaser video for 2NE1's "I Am the Best".  YG seems to be taking the same approach for 2NE1's comeback as Big Bang's comeback in the sense that they are releasing ridiculously short teasers that last about 12-15 seconds.  2NE1's comeback is on the 24th according to the teaser, which only involves an animated version of 2NE1.  The audio teaser reveals a strong club beat.

Fans are excited to see their favorite K-pop girl group return after their recent comeback in May, "Lonely".

Dara asked fans on her Me2Day: "Was [the teaser] too short?"; most fans replied "yes".

2NE1 Releases "It Hurts" MV

2NE1's song and MV "It Hurts" has just been released just after Halloween, but just in time for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead, i.e. Spanish holiday) not that it has anything to do with Kpop.... xP.  The MV is set in a goth setting with a soul/ballad song.  Does the setting match?  Honestly, I personally do not think it matches (don't kill me).  The setting could have been a city, park, lake, whatever, but NOT a graveyard/goth setting.  Yes, it's "It Hurts" but not literally...  the tempo and sound is too upbeat for the setting it is in.  But what this song shows is 2NE1's excellent singing talent and versatility.  Good job 2NE1 :D.!!
