GP Basic become blondies in Japanese "Jelly Pop" MV

Young girl group GP Basic hopes to debut in Japan with an MV for their song "Jelly Pop".  The MV features a lot of weird gummy figures dancing around the girls as they sing.  The girls have decided to become blondies for their MV, which really stands out in their choreography.  GP Basic had performed this song long ago in Japan, but only released the MV recently.

My favorite gummy animal in this MV has to be the weird pencil pushing thing. Whoo, move it pencil pushing thing! ~

I also command HyunA and GP Basic to make a new single called "Soda Pop".

August 29th Inkigayo

Annyeong haseyo! This week's Inkigayo featured FT Island's comeback song "Love Love Love" and Sistar's comeback song "Shady Girl."  Sistar's Bora fractured her thumb recently and had a pretty silver splint during the Inkigayo performance. It was very unfortunate because Sistar was just beginning to promote "Shady Girl."  Read more to see a heck of a lot of pictures :D.

Who is hosting this week's Inkigayo?  f(x)'s Sulli, 2AM's Jokwon, and CN Blue's Younghwa!  Jokwon and Younghwa are such goofballs :P.

T Island came back with "Love Love Love" Sarang sarang sarang.  It's great to hear bands like CN Blue and FT Island that play their own music.

Secret performed "Madonna."  This song is so catchy and upbeat.

GP Basic performed "Game."  Is it just me, or did they sound especially squeaky this week? I think they were caught up with the dancing that they kind of messed up the vocals.  I think it's hard for anyone to do a mix of the two.

"Digital Bounce" by Seven.  I cannot take this guy seriously right now; not after he harassed Taeyang earlier. I'm still laughing about it... xD  He was wearing some kind of goggle... Worker's goggles? Hmm... construction goggles?

Homme performed "I Ate Well." Is that right? I'm still not sure about the song name... They have really good vocals though :).

SHINee performed "Lucifer."  I still love Jonghyun, and he will be my new hyung.

Taeyang performed "I'll Be There." Great great performance.  I liked the choreography and the execution of the dance moves.  Too bad Seven wasn't there.

BoA performed "Hurricane Venus."  She was wearing some kind of purple suit... Martian suit, perhaps? I'm not sure, but it was very purple and tight.  Oh BoA, we love your wide range of wardrobe surprises. What will you wear next?

9Muses and GP Basic Perform On Inkigayo

Annyeong haseyo! 9Muses and GP Basic, 2 relatively new girl groups, performed on this week's Inkigayo episode.  While these girls are just starting out, they are not only confusing me, but amazing me.  The groups are talented in a different way, whether it's a thirteen-year old girl rapping or a group of high energy girls dancing with their very long legs, you are sure to stop and take a moment to soak in the moment.

9Muses performed "No Playboy"on this week's Inkigayo.  Many people think that these girls could be the next SNSD, but I think they are special in their own way :).  And please, let's not mix girl groups, I'm confused enough as it is...  We have to see the other developments that these girls might have next.

GP Basic performed their hit song "Game."  I think Janey could be my little sister, which is a little creepy.  GP Basic seems very popular so far already, and they are probably here to stay.  But then again, there are groups that are pretty new too such as SISTAR, and those groups have not even released a 2nd album yet.

Is there enough breathing room for each of these Kpop groups?  Will some of them have to be cut out? I hope not because I love all these groups... now to memorize everyone's names....

Top Story Thursday: GP Basic Releases "Game" MV

Annyeong haseyo! The new girl group GP Basic has just released an MV for their song "Game." The young girl group may be the youngest girl group to debut in Kpop.  With ages averaging at about 15 years, these girls already have incredible potential as a girl group.  GP Entertainment has given these girls a great start, and it looks like they could be staying awhile in the Kpop World.   Their names are Leah, Amet, Hannah, Janey, Trinity, and Zion.  Many people are worried about GP Basic because they have a feeling of exploitation.  It's true, the girl group is very young, but let's see if the girls can get past that and capture the hearts of Kpop fans. A Lot of New Songs/MV

Theres been a lot of new releases these past few days. Hangeng's song "My Logo" came out with a MV. Secret made their comeback with their track for the new album "Madonna" as well as a new MV for it. Rainbow's comeback is just around the corner as well, releasing a new track called "A". Nine Muses also released their debut album recently called "Lets Have A Party" with 2 songs called "Ladies" and "No Playboy". They also recently released an MV for "No Playboy". Kara also recently released a Japanese version of Mister with a MV. 4minute released a MV for "Superstar". The new group GP Basic, with 6 members is about to debut with the song "Game". A mv teaser has been released for the song. Brave Brothers ft. Jay Park also released a MV for "I Want to Cry". Clara C has released an album track for her debut album. There are so many more to name, but these are just a few. Ahh~ I'm happy for all the new songs and comebacks...

Top Story Thursday: GP Basic Debut

Annyeong haseyo! With all these debuts this year, there is another girl group debuting soon.  The group's name is GP Basic, and they may be the youngest group yet with their ages around 15 years old.  I don't know why so young... They will be the youngest working group in Kpop, but is it really that important of a title? When they are out in the Kpop scene they'll be facing off against already established groups such as 2NE1, Girl's Generation, and T-ara along with the other starting artists such as SISTAR and Miss A. The company that sponsors them is called GP Basic Entertainment.
